The Palomino Club was a North Hollywood country music club, opening in 1945, closing 50 years later. They booked both kinds of music, featuring such performers as the Everly Brothers, Rick Nelson, Johnny Cash, Linda Ronstadt, Buck Owens, Patsy Cline, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Merle Haggard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Willie Nelson. In the late 80s they started booking more rock acts, including many artists from Greg Ginn's SST Records. Mike Watt and Firehose recorded the band's iconic Live Totem Pole EP at the Palomino on August 16, 1991.
