This game was invented in 1943 as Cludeo in the UK. A few differences from the US export: Mr. Green was Reverend Green, the murder victim is known as Dr. Black in the UK edition and Mr. Boddy in North American versions (in the 1985 movie Mr. Boddy is played by Lee Ving of the L.A. punk band FEAR). I have always been taken with the murder weapons - here they are in a Warhollesque inkblot line, with characters represented in the color version.
