As underground as it gets, the Anti Club was in a little house toward the 101 end of Melrose. It hosted the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Minutemen, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Sonic Youth, and The Cult. I saw NOFX there, among others. It's an apartment building now.
